Fiber optic jumper, that is, the optical fiber connector that connects the optical module, also has many kinds, and can not be used each other. The SFP module is connected to the LC fiber connector, and the GBIC is connected to the SC fiber connector.
(1) FC type fiber jump line: the external strengthening method is to use metal sleeve, fastening way is screw buckle. Generally used on the ODF side (the most used on the wire frame)
SC optical fiber jump line: connector connecting GBIC light module, its shell is rectangular, fastening mode is to use plug latch type, no rotation. (the most used on a router switch)
(3) ST fiber optic jumper: it is usually used in the fiber wiring frame, the outer shell is round, and the fastening way is the screw button. (for 10Base-F connections, the connector is usually the ST type. Commonly used in fiber wiring frame)
(4) LC fiber optic jumper: connector connected to the SFP module, which is made of a convenient operating modular socket (RJ) latch mechanism. (often used by routers)
